PrepareDVDFiceoFiles () failed with errNo 5 - encoding failed
I'm using Movie Edit Pro 2016 Plus. I have tried multiple times to fix this error. It always aborts while trying to encode movie 2. Part of the frustration is that I don't even know which of the 7 movies is number 2. Why can't the error message

RE: MEP 2016 setting not working?
Hi John CB . . . . I still have thousands of photos (to be treated) that will have to be cropped . . . . I now use my video camera for both video and stills for this reason and several others: no worries about cropping have to carry the one camera

RE: Difference between Trial versions?
Hi, I don't know what you mean by "no trimming window for imported files." Files can be trimmed before and after importing in both products. I use VPX on both a Surface Pro when travelling, but mainly on my desktop with 2 large monitors. There is a

RE: Anyone else finding MAGIX Support somewhat lacking?
Hi Jeff, Well said. Given your problems, users using other products, like Samplitude Pro X, may have done something similar. We know that MS has been messing up things for quite a while. About a year ago, they changed something to do with

Travel Route Animation Wizard revisited
To show trips and walks in my videos I most often use Google Earth (GE). For example in my current project: But as it's been a long time since I used MEP 2014's wizard I've just tried it for the same route. It's fairly easy to use in

RE: I'd like to know if others are experiencing problems I'm having with MEP 2016 Premium
Hi Kami A good use of John EB's method is to correct the fall off in focus or light towards the edges of some lenses especially wide angle adapters. Using a graduated circle mask to sharpen or lighten the outer parts of the lens field. Another

RE: How do I attach vasco da gama 8 HD Pro to my Movie Edit Pro 2015 Plus ?
@Carl, Correct. VdG creates a wmv file that you import into MEP. My tutorial shows how to create the travel file, and allow for some zooming in and out, and pauses at points where you may want to insert photos or videos in MEP (cut the VdG file

RE: Disable automatic volume adjust - how?
Hi @ Stemu Pleased you solution was a simple one. @John CB . . . . if there is no rational explanation . . . . How about the laws of physics - sound travels significantly slower than light - so that the sound and video arrive at the ear

Hi, @Walter, I love your effects! A lot of work. @Terry, In my first reply here, I mentioned Heroglyph videowall. After a lot of playing around with it, I managed to get it to work right (almost) and included some script writing in and

RE: MEP 2015 Plus - Is there a way to move track contents less than one frame?
I think that we have established that you cannot move a video clip by less than a frame; if you could the resulting video would be terrible. With multiple cameras, you will never get exactly the same image at the same time unless they are

Activation and multiple licences?
I've noticed that MEP 2015 only allows you to to run it on one computer. That may have legally been the case in the past, but there was nothing to stop you having MEP 2014 installed on a laptop and a desktop, for example, and as I never used both

Hi All I moved the thread to MEP Discussion. John C.B. - That halo effect is what I was referring to in my previous post. It can be reduced by moving the HDR Blur slider down to about 20 but don't go too low because the effect goes haywire

Hi Doug, You did go to Help on the menu line, not the help manual. There is no "Free downloads" on the rolldown list? If not, then this is probably because you purchased the DVD program and everything is there and does not need to be

MPEG Activation
I am using Photostory 2014 Deluxe. I am using Windows 8.1 When I want to add a 'travel' intro at the beginning of my video, a box comes up telling me 'one time activation' is required to actvate MPEG-2 . I tick yes and to activate on-line.

Travel route animation: Duration setting
