Compatability
I previously had Windows 7. I used Windows Live Movie Maker to edit videos. Then I used Microsoft DVD Maker to burn DVDs using DVD-RW disks. When I upgraded to Windows 10, I discovered that Microsoft DVD Maker was not supported. I purchased

RE: I have Video Easy SE version purchased with Kaiser Baas Video Converter
Thanks John. I don't think that can be relevant, as the files still split when I save to desktop. I am using MacDrive 8 to read/write to the HSFJ formatted disc. I will try on another Windows formatted disc and see how that goes. I tried

RE: I cannot burn a video to DVD. I keep getting the message that the disc is not writable, but it is
Thanks for your help John. I have pasted the log file below, it looks like exactly the same issue. It starts with "Power calibration or program memory area update failure (SK/ASC/ASCQ 03/73/03)". Actually I have just managed to get one of the

RE: I cannot burn a video to DVD. I keep getting the message that the disc is not writable, but it is
Thanks for the answer but I don't think that's it. I have tried 5 of them, they are all brand new. If I try writing files to them after the burn has failed in Movie Maker (just using Windows for example) they work fine. So I'm pretty sure there is

I cannot burn a video to DVD. I keep getting the message that the disc is not writable, but it is
If I try to burn a DVD (actually a DVD+R) I get the following message: "Burning was aborted with the following error: Internal error while processing Disc can only be read, not written" However the disc is brand new and definitely

RE: Burned DVD using MEP software will not play in DVD player
This is long, but I do not know what else I can do. I am assuming that this software, Movie Edit Pro 2015 was a software to create my DVD, and burn it to a DVD. I followed the steps in MEP 2015. I imported my video clips and photos and music. I

Massive thanks to johnebaker and to Scenestealer. The movie has been burned to x2DVDs last night and we sat and watched some great footage. As I said, I was new to the software and must thank you guys for your patience and support. Now I will

RE: I bought an LG slim blu ray writer I was successful with the first burn, but since then I always get a message that the drive is not fully supported. I dont know why it did it once and now will not. Any alternatives?
Hi Without more information I am guessing that the LG BD drive is an external USB device - and possibly you are using a laptop? If the LG drive is USB, then the most likely cause of the problem is the Windows USB power management turning off

RE: Burning Additional DVDs
Hi Alternatively you could use a program like ImgBurn to copy the disc - this will also allow creation of multiple copies easier - it reads the disc once and then writes the number of copies you specified. I always create my first disc of a

I am not ale to write a Blu Ray disc
This question referes to Movie Edit Pro 2015 Plus. I am trying to write a 3D Blu Ray with video that I got from my Fuji 3D camera. I am quite discouraged. This is what I bought the software for, and I can't figure out why it's not

Burning a blu-ray disc
I purchased blank blu-ray discs. When I pick blu-ray as the option and pick Standard NTSC (1920x1080), I get a message saying that this burner cannot write any BD-R type media. I checked with Dell and it can write DVDs and BDs, so I'm not sure

Hi Spickwell I am not sure what to make of your tests because 4hours 30mins is an astronomically long time to render an 8 minute clip. With a system like yours even using just the CPU and no GPU acceleration it should take no longer than 3 to 4x
