1 of my Tracks is Blocked

I have MEP 2016 and I am just getting started and I thought I was making headway but last night I went backwards.

I was moving clips around and I noticed I had missed one I needed so I slid all the clips I wanted to the right and tried to move one up in its place and I was sliding it along to the left and when I get to a certain spot it disappears , if I slide to the right it shows up. It seems as if there is a area on the video track that is blocking me.  What did I do ?

Also twice now I am working and the scroll wheel disappears and I have to reset to defaults and reactivate it, What's causing that ?

Hi Craig,

The disappearing video track when you slide it to the left is almost certainly due to a small sliver of clip left from where you trimmed a clip previously. If you zoom in on the timeline so that you can see more frames, you should be able to see the remnant and just delete it.

Not sure about the scroll wheel as I haven't seen that before, but are you sure it isn't a Windows problem rather than Magix?

Hi

. . . . . Also twice now I am working and the scroll wheel disappears and I have to reset to defaults and reactivate it, What's causing that ? . . . .

Assuming you mean the Preview monitor scroll wheel and you have the Show Jog/Shuttle turned on, then the preview monitor is too small to display it, possibly because you are increasing the timeline area while you are moving objects around, increase the size of the preview monitor and it will appear.

If you do not have the jog/shuttle turned on click the 'hamburger' top left of the preview monitor and turn it on.
