2021 after update 2022 ( Win 7 ) support@magix professionalism

I am one of those Movie Edit Pro Plus (2021) users who, having win7, clicked the update to 2022 and the program became unusable. I tried all the tips from the forum (main thx for: johnebaker) but the program didn't work. I decided to use support @ magix and after 40 hours I received a nice email with a link to the 2021 version. It works. I read a lot of negatives about support @ magix here, so I emphasize their professionalism which I respect.

I have been using Magix products for over a decade. I have always had a positive experience with Magix support as well.

That's great, but Magix shouldn't allow it's own program to upgrade onto a system that is unsuitable.

Hi Al.

Would that not go against their contractual agreement to supply updates and upgrades for the length of the contract?

I think it would be better is they were more precise with their system requirements for various resolutions and file types. I noticed on older specification pages it used to include some specs if third party offerings went above the specs of the main program.

I do agree that on the whole the Magix support team are quite good when they are not answering questions posted on Amazon or other sites selling their products.
