4K editing with latest intel graphics

Re: 4K editing.

Sorry JohnEB. I may have missed the original reply. I wasn't criticizing your product - I was promoting it.

Let me re-phrase my question please. Are there any users on the Forum using latest Movie Edit Pro with an i7 Kaby Lake or Skylake CPU as shown in the Intel video below for 4k H.264 or H.265 editing? Any feedback will be appreciated.

https://software.intel.com/en-us/videos/how-magix-made-4k-360-video-editing-swift-and-easy

Why doesn't MAGIX use this as a marketing tool? Most edit software (except Edius) uses software decoding for H.264 4k/UHD edit/playback which is CPU intensive causing many to buy a $1k+ i7 8-10 core CPU plus an NVIDIA 1080TI which still struggles in Adobe. It makes so much sense to use the power of the integrated Kaby Lake GPU for timeline decoding and render/encoding. 4k editing on a consumer level Kaby Lake i7 $300 CPU and no expensive discrete GPU card makes editing affordable to a much larger market.

I would buy your software if there was a video showing how it works. If no video exists why not make one? I'm moving to 4k and need to upgrade my PC. If MAGIX works as shown in the Intel video it could save me a fortune.

I've been editing over 20 years using Vegas, Adobe, Edius, and Resolve.

Thank You

@al-s

This is now the fourth thread you have started, each one essentially asking the same question.

JohnEB has explained that no-one can answer your questions because no-one knows the answer!

I am going to lock this thread. Please post any response to one of your other earlier threads.
