A single component in my song stopped playing?

A single strings component in my song stopped playing suddenly without cause. MMM 2013. Windows 7. Any help?

Is the "strings" a MIDI insstrument or an audio (soundpool) sample? Is the track "muted"?

It's a midi and it's not muted. Volume is up.

I would assume this sound is a track in your overall composistion. Load your composistion and see how long or how many bars this one track has...lets say it has 48 bars (or measures)mute everything else and just play that one track....if it goes for 48 bars...and it should, you need to look elsewhere....if it suddenly goes silent, you now have some sort of idea as to where athe problem lies...not necessarily what the problem is.

It's my experience that occasionally a glitch develops in an arrangement where a MIDI voice/instruments simply stops playing. I haven't found a cure for this problem other than to start over with a fresh arrangement. Yes, I know, not what you want to hear.
