Hi guys ... I'm Ahmed from Egypt ... I just read much of posted Questions and Answers about USING SOUND POOLs of Magix ( either that with the program or The Soundpools DVD collections ) in COMMERCIAL use ... but as i'm not good at all in English .... I understood nothing ... so I will ask some Precise Questions BUT hoping The Answers to be with YES or NO only ... and if Anyone have an extra explanation ... plz try to be in The Simplest English way ...

1- I get MMM MX production 18 with few soundloops within ,,, is it allowed and legal to use it in an Personal creative way ( putting The Soundloops together in a way to produce nice music ) to create music that will be a part of songs ... that may be produced in an Official album ( commercial use ?!!! ) of mine ?!!! ...

2- If The answer of The first question is NO ... Then how could I use These Soundloops Officially in my album without breaking Terms ?!!!

3- I get SoundLoops DVD Collection 18 ... and involved some of it's Soundloops in my music making my songs ( beside my Own Lyrics Vocals recorded within The songs ) ... Am I allowed to produce my songs ( with The included soundloops-music ) in an Official Album ... That may be rewarded me with profit "money gain " ( Is that what called " commercial production " ) ?!!! .... and If The answer is NO also .... Then How Could I do this Legaly ?!!!!

4- About You-Tube and SoundcLoud ... can i post on them a song of mine ( also with my creative additive soundloops way and my lyrics recorded vocals ) that included any Magix Soundloops in My Music ?!!!! .... Also tell me How to make it Legaly If The Answer is NO ... plz ....

I know This Questions may be asked by many different ways ... but believe me I didn't Understand Anything From All the Similar Questions with It's Answers Post ... SO PLZ ANSWER ME BY ( YES ) OR ( NO ) ... with a simply clarified any other replys ....

Thnx in advance ... and plz help me ......

Say John:

In reading his questions, I just remembered a forum topic of a very similiar nature that you were part of here: http://www.magix.info/us/using-music-maker-mx-created-music-in-commercial-products.knowledge.637267.html?sort=newest&page=2

If I read MMM's License Agreement correctly, I believe the answer to the use of their soundpools for "commercial" productions is essentially no.  If Ahmed clicks the link, he should be able to get a much clearer understanding of what is, and what is not, legal with this software.

Also, as you suggested, he should definitely use the Google Translator to assist himself in trying to grasp some of the more esoteric legalese written in the Agreement,

Griff

Dear John ... I've never tried google translation as it may be somehow far away from real statement Intention ... That may makes me more confused ... So i tried to avoid this by using my simple English words instead ... but anyway Thank You very very much for your reply ...

Dear Nycgriff ... Thnx For Your reply ... but I've already read this Topic ... but didn't Understand The meaning of what finally said by mr.doane ... " doane answered at 2011-12-22 04:23 AM

I installed my boxed version of MX18 last weekend and then downloaded the free 2,000 extra sound loops from the Catooh site. I was very pleased to find that the free dowload are rated as Audio Pro Unlimited license sounds which means they can be used for commercial use. That made me less disappointed that the boxed included loops are only for private use.
Thanks, Magix, excellent program!  " .... don't Understand what he is referring by ( what are The 2000 extra soundloops ) and how it could be used commercially ... Then he said "  That made me less disappointed that the boxed included loops are only for private use. " ?!!!!! .... but he said That Magix is excellent program ?!!! ... which means somehow it's benefical to him .... So from all of this i just get Confused ?!!!! .... SO PLZ ANYONE COULD ANSWER ME SIMPLE , DIRECT AND PRECISE ANSWER just afford me This ,,,, ALSO with giving me Solutions on what are The Legal sTeps for using Those Sound Loops with The simplest cLearest English Words .... PLEASE ....

Thank You For Your Efforts mrJohn and mr.Griff .... Hoping anyone to ANSWER and HELP me .....

Hi

To answer your questions:

1.  For personal use Yes, for commercial use No.

2.  For commercial use you must purchase the Audio Pro licence for the soundpools you use from Catooh

3.  For commercial use - No if you have the Private version.  Yes if you have the Audio Pro version

4.  The same answer as question 3

The exceptions to the above are the Synthesizers and Drum machines where you compose a track using these and they are your own composition.

I hope this has clarified the legality for you

John

Thnx mr .John ... Yes I Understand now ... and Luckly ,, my Versions are Audio Proversion ... and The Sound pools collection is what I'm Looking for as it have much Sound loops than that of The Program itself ... so finally I can use my songs commercially ... BUT I'm Curios about Something ,,, how could CATOOH know that the man using their Sound loops have either The private or the Audio Pro Version ?!!! .... How could They Know about This .... ALSO how could They recognize that a Sound pool played in a song is royal to them .... how could they detect such a thing ?!!!! .... You Know mr.John That sounds may be played similarily without Intent .... the Same Idea of a Certain Loop could be Imagined and applied by many Persons allover The World ,,,, how could They recognize that a Sound loop inside a song is of Their Creativity ,, not The Creativity of Another one by COINCIDENCE .... It's just This Question Have No Question with me .... and I'm waiting for a CONVINCING Answers to those Question .... as I don't want To Purchase Something That Any Other Person would get it by COINCIDENCE or Other non-Legal ways ,,,, PLZ mr.John answer my Questions as They get me Confused ,,,, AND Thank You Very much For Your Help ... Waiting Your Reply and Answers ....
