Added subtitles keep moving places

Again, last night I tried to post this problem but after I logged in I was redirected to the main page so my topic was gone.

But I am having a big problem with Video Pro X. I downloaded this 2 hour documentary which my son wants to see. As his English is not that good yet I have been working on translating this into our language for a week now.(parent and all, so not a lot of time during the day and only get to it at night)

The problem is that the last couple of days I noticed that every time I save, close the program and open the file later, the subtitles are moved by minutes. Say I finished rearranging 30 minutes and then quiet. Then I would continue and do another 30 minutes. Then after opening the file after the 2x 30 minutes, the first 30 minutes would be all messed up again. It is has been an ongoing process of rearranging. It is ridiculous.

Is there something in the software that I am triggering to do so?

So I have Video Pro X 15.04 on a Windows 10Home laptop with a NVidia Geforce 950m videocard and intel i7 processor.

Hi, welcome to the Magic forums.

First, the problem of posts being lost when you select to post them is not uncommon, regrettably. From bitter experience, before I press the comment button to post my response I will use Ctrl+A to select all the text then Ctrl+C to copy it. The number of times that I then have to use Ctrl+V to paste the text to a new comment box before sending it has been considerable.

I've never seen the problem you are experiencing with the subtitles "moving" but I do notice from your signature that you are not running the latest version of VPX, which is 15.0.5.211 so, as a first suggestion, I would update to that version and then see what happens with your subtitles. Unfortunately, it may be that your current project file has somehow become corrupted and you may need to revert to an earlier back-up version, if you have one.

Please post back and tell us whether the update effects any change (but remember that your latest project file may be corrupted so also check using an earlier version of that file if you can)>
