Adding transition

kligj wrote on 10/5/2017, 7:44 AM

I have a strange behavior after upgrade to the latest MEP:

When I add some old DV tape files (AVI format) to the timeline, the exports and the timeline plays fine. When I add a transition (cross-fade or anay other) between any two clips, when playing the transition, the video (timeline and export) stops/freezes for a very short time.

This has never hapend before

Anybody seen this ?

Hi

We need more information:

  1. Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM,  hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?

  2. Windows version and is it up to date?  Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.

  3. Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .

  4. Format and resolution of the other videos on the timeline

  5. Which transition(s) cause the lag.

Also please read this post before replying and add any other information you think may be relevant.

Ups... It turned out the the one DV tape was captured with sound holes in each and all the clips. This was impossible to see when the sound curve was not shown.
I had to remove 10-15 second on beginning on all clips (150)...

Sorry, no fault by Magix.
