If you want people to understand your problem, the first step is to make an effort to communicate clearly. I'm done here.

In Sound Forge and Vegas, a 'Rack'; is called Plug-in Chainer, which is used if more than one plug-in is needed simultaneously. Basically.. select Fx Favorites> Apply plug-in chain" and add the desired plug-ins. The chainer plug-ins, parameters and the individual plug-ins parameters can be saved as user presets.. Automating a plug-in's parameters (via envelopes) singularly is not possible outside the chainer. If you wish to retain the automation envelopes, you must 'Save as' a Sound Forge project file <.frg> which is a non-destructive editing mode,

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge forum @Lee-sav and you are welcome to follow up with specific questions. btw, you may want to peruse the Vegas **IMPORTANT!** - INFORMATION REQUIRED TO HELP YOU, much of which is universal to Sound Forge.

Do you have Sound Forge Pro or AS (Audio Studio)? Is "Modern EQ" a third-party VST plug-in and has it been installed to one of the VST folders (typically in Program files (or Program files x86 for 32 bit plugs). Sound Forge Pro has a legacy Direct X 'Graphic EQ, which can be 10 or 20 band graphic or an unlimited point envelope EQ. There are others as well and many available for download on the internet for free (or otherwise). If there are VST plug-in that are installed on your PC, but not available in SF, you likely have to set up the "default and alternate VST search folders" in "Options> Preferences> VST Effects".
