Use the same email address you used when it was initially registered with Sonic Foundry (or Sony).

SF-6 is ancient, you should consider a newer version. As I recall SF-6 did not even support VST plug-ins (at least w/o a wrapper). Other than that, the UI of newer versions are basically the same, so re-learning is not much of an issue

I can't. I have no idea what email I had that long ago. Is there some way that tech support can look up the serial number and figure out why it's not working?

2002 was a very long time before Magix acquired the ACID product line from SCS. Hence, Magix are extremely unlikely to have any record of your purchase.

I understand the original Sony licensing servers are still available to users but, without the correct email address, I think you are out of luck, sorry.

Yes, the Sony licensing servers, Your SCS product serial numbers and installation file downloads. But as Jeff stated, without a valid log-in, you're SOL

Addendum, you can try asking the Magix Customer Service Sales team
