All edited pieces move at same time

I have been using this program for years but this just started happening recently. As I place the pieces of my edited video on one of the tracks and I go to move them around....all the other edited pieces move at the same time on all the other tracks including the one I am using. It makes it impossible to edit the movie. Has anyone else experienced this problem and know the solution?

Hi Joe.

Try changing your mouse mode to single object selection. You may have changed it to grab all objects or all objects on one track.

To clarify - this is not a new feature - the mouse mode functions are the same as the first version you bought in 2017, the relevant buttons are indicated below.

The mouse mode buttons, indicated above, have keyboard shortcuts 6, 8, 7 and 0 in that order (L to R) and it is probable you may have switched mode accidentally by hitting one of these keys.

More details on their mode of working are in the PDF manual available under Help - you may have to download it.
