Am I missing some soundpools for MM Soundtrack Edition? I only have MovieScore Vol. 4 and 5

Hi there!

I recently tried the demo for Music Maker Soundtrack edition and loved it, but with the trial, I only had one volume of soundloops, MovieScore Vol. 4. Now, I also installed the demo of Magix Music Studio, and gained access to Rock Pop vol. 7, Tech house vol. 1 and Hip Hop vol. 14.

I uninstalled both these programmes before installing the bought version of MM Soundtrack edition which arrived this morning, but when I load up the purchashed copy of MMSE, I still have the same 4 volumes appearing in my soundpool. It says on the box that there are 1500 loops available, but I can't find them.

I did manage to find MovieScore Vol. 5 in C: > Public > Documents > MAGIX > Common > Soundpools > Basic_19, but no other volumes, surely there are volumes 1-3 somewhere, not to mention possibly some after? Am I missing something here? Did installing the demo's cause a problem with locating the sound loops, or am I being stupid and not looking in the right place/missed something in the PDF Documentation?

Anyway, all help would be appreciated, I really wanted to get into this, it was so much fun using the demo!

Thanks!

product description says...

"over 1500 sounds and loops..."

be sure to multiply your loops (bass, strings, brass...) by 7, because there are 7 different "steps" available... and I'm not sure if any premade sounds of included instruments count as well into that number...

What smartsmurf means to say is DIVIDE your 1500 loops by seven (7) which is the number of "variations" of each loop.  So, that means you will only find about 214 additional objects in the media pool.

So, if you know you have a new soundpool on your hard drive, you need to install it.  In the media pool, click on the "Add styles..." button, find the MovieScore Vol. 5 folder, click on it to highlight it, and hit OK to install it in the mediapool.

"...surely there are volumes 1-3 somewhere,..."

I wouldn't make that assumption.  Earlier volumes probably came out in previous versions of the software, so you are not likely to find them in your edition.  You CAN purchase other volumes on CATOOH.  Remember, you purchased a budget, single genre version of MMM.  It stands to reason you will get less for your money.

However, just to be sure, examine the DVD in Windows Explorer to see if there are any other soundpool folders included on the disk.
