Any pipe organs and/or choirs in your sound pools? Also, why are the GM drum kits incomplete (not all drums supported)? This is all for Music Maker Premium.

I recently purchased Magix Music Maker Premium.  First of all, the GM drum kits that I got are INCOMPLETE.  Many drum sounds are MISSING.  I am using Windows Xp Pro on a custom built PC with 2 GB of RAM and a quad core processor (Q9550 clocked at 2.83 GHz).  I am using Music Maker Premium, version 19.0.5.57 (UDC2).

Also, do you have any pipe organs and choirs in your sound pools?

Hi John,

I want to make sure that you understand that you are not speaking to anyone from Magix by posting on this forum.  This is a user forum, and we are all users helping other users here.  A comment on your system specs, 2 GB of RAM is not a lot for editing either music or video, but 2 GB does meet the reccomended criteria for the product.

As for pipe organ, there are a few pipe organ files available at www.catooh.com  of course they are electronic loops but they do sound like a pipe organ.  If in the version that you purchased you beleive that it included something other than the drum kits that you received with the product, I would suggest that you open Music Maker, go to "Help" then "Update Program / Upgrade Functions" and select any functions that you have not already downloaded, then you should get whatever other drum sounds you are missing.

If you still think you are missing drum sounds, contact Magix sales and ask for their assistance.

Good Luck,

George
