Anyone knows how to use a midi keyboard trough a midi-usb adapter?

As of the tile when i go to the midi options there is no device listed. Can someone help? I've also tried the thing and it works within other programs, like audiomulch, and the in\out led lights when i play a note. so it isn't a hardware fault. I think that i must have forgotten something...

Ps. I'm using the Magix Music Maker 17 version....

Don't know if you can use Music Maker 17 with a midi keyboard hooked-up via a midi usb adapter? Have you tried just connecting up your midi keyboard directly to your computer, and see whether you can choose it in the program under program settings? Cheers, M o' L.
