Audio drift in mp4 files MEP 2014

Hi Gang...I just upgraded to Win 8.1 64 bit from Win 7 32 bit. Yesterday I loaded an mp4 file of a football game I'd captured and noticed audio drift starting shortly after the file begins, getting progressively worse as the I move along in the file. I know I've experienced this problem before in MEP, so I tried the usual fixes, checking auto create frametable during import and auto create wireframe during import in settings. No joy. I right clicked on the actual file and tried creating a new frametable there, but still no joy. I have MEP 2014, version 13.0.4.4. Is MEP 2014 unable to work with mp4 files? The mp4 in question plays perfect in the Divx player and also works fine in Video Studio Pro, so it's something in MEP. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Regards...Bruce

Hi Gang...My wife asked me yesterday how my problem with MP4 was coming and I told her I haven't found a solution yet. She asked me why I just don't use VideoStudioPro if it works, rather than spend so much time on something that doesn't. That did make a lot of sense, so I upgraded to VSP7 and am now back in business. I still prefer how MEP flows, but since I can't get it to work properly, I'll use VSP7. Thanks though for your consideration. I'm sure there are still areas where MEP will prove to be useful.
