CD quality is 44,1 kHz, 16-bit. This is usually good enough for exporting audio. If the audio material sounds terrible and you use these settings, there is most likely another problem. If it sounds too loud, you might want to control in Movie Edit Pro first if there are any peaks above 0dB. This might happen during the recording of audio material if it is not properly leveled. If this is the case it is always best to rerecord as there is no satisfying way to rebuild a distorted waveform. If it sounds too blunt you might want to use an Equalizer on your audio tracks and reduce the mid-range and boost the high-range a little - this should solve your problem.
