Audio level adjustment option inside clip not available

Being able to adjust the audio level within a clip on the timeline isn't available for me anymore, like creating a fade at the end.

The wave doesn't appear anymore in the selected clip. Basically, I have to use the "edit wave externally" option where before I could do within Edit Pro Plus(ver 20.0.1.73)

Hi, and welcome to the Movie Edit Pro user to user forums.

In Program settings make sure you have ticked to show waveform and then enlarge both the vertical and horizontal widths of your tracks using the + & - symbols at the bottom and right hand side of the timeline editor.

Just to add to what @CubeAce has written: sometimes the actual waveform may not display. In this situation, simply highlight the audio track and press Shift+E to force the creation of the visual representation of the waveform.

Hi,

Also, I suggest always having video and audio on separate tracks so that you can clearly see the audio part. Change the setting in Program settings. For video objects already on the timeline, select and do Ctrl+H to put AV on separate tracks. They will still be grouped, just on separate tracks.

Thanks that was the trick, can't believe it was that simple. Not sure how the tracks started to get smaller on new files but will remember that now
