MEP 2018 Plus (17.0.2.166)
Occasionally, depending on the version, when I right-click on the audio portion of a video clip, I see "Edit wave externally - Alt+Z." In the current version of MEP, I don't see it. Same video clip in MEP 2016 Premium (15.0.0.114), it's on the list.
Bug?
The text below was copied from the 2018 manual, page 205. Where is this in the program? "Processing menu?"
"Mixdown of audio objects
If the project window becomes too full to manage, the system is out of RAM, or you just want to "summarize" your production, use the mix down function to convert the entire audio arrangement into a single audio file. Just click on the mix down button in the button bar or select the function from the "Processing" menu."
The answer is that it's under the Edit menu as "Combine audio." The shortcut to do a mixdown (combine audio) is Shift+D. It would be nice if Magix could get the manual and the program to have the same terminology.
If you do a mixdown, then the External audio editor shows up on the combined wav file. But what if I only want to edit the audio from one video clip? This can't be done in my version of 2018.
Trying to do an Alt+Z on the audio of a video clip does not cause the external editor to open.
Is this the same for others?
Thanks,
John CB
