I accidentally figured this out. They added that you can tell it what track to put the recording on but clicking the sections on the far left of the timeline and turning them blue. If you have the top track chosen it will put it at the first open area and that is at the end of the video - so chose an open track and it will post where you record it.

I don't have this problem with VPX patch 304. What I get now is if I don't accept the Take, I click on Delete after recording, the playback marker disappears completely. If I now record again and accept the take, it does not show up, and the wav file is not saved. I first have to put the playback marker again at the recording position. Before, if a Take was not accepted, the playback marker returned to the same start location.

Can anyone else replicate preacherallen's problem? My problem?
