Assuming you are working with files from DVD and they are in mpg or vob format, try right clicking the video clips and selecting Create (new) frametable and export again.

I know this goes against what you are trying to do, however is the audio in sync if you export without using Smart render?

Hi,

No, the issue only occurs when I Smart Render it. So Smart Render is successful but when you playback the output file, the video and audio are out of sync.
