In Beatbox 2, the built in patterns have "automations" that involve pitch changes within a track...however, the help and manual do not contain any information about how one can produce these automations, and I have explored all the options in Beatbox 2 but can see nothing relevant. 

Is it possible to produce one's own automations, i.e. pitch changes within a Beatbox 2 track? If so, how?

This question was asked before, a few years ago, but the single reply did not seem to understand the problem and provided no useful information.
