Funny question...

Did you hear or read about Audio Mastering already..?

It's a subject you can even study... so how can we possibly answer your question here..?

but there are tutorials for mastering in the internet... go for the subject !!!

P.S.:

and please... ask one question at a time.

Rasnty my friend. I take it your are "mixing down" the track then exporting that WAV/FLAC/WHATEVER FORMAT sound file to an external sound convertor software program? Or just hitting export as burn CD in the MMM options? I have found the best way is to convert to CD (MP3 as well) externally. Convert and listen before burning. If your not happy go back and re-mix/re-master and try again (always remebering to save the original MMM track as a slightly different file name to the original).  You will eventually find the mix that you like the best and that sounds right to you and be able to export it confident in the knowledge that you have a track to be proud of. It's time consuming but fun and educational as you work your way through what sounds best and learn loads while doing it. The odd tweak here and there often sorts a track.

Dragging & dropping from the template section should add the chosen template to your audio file when it is in the MMM window.
