black screen for 1 second 5 frames towards end of mpeg 2 files on playback

mpg files from sony hdr-cx 300 video camera when played back within magix movie edit pro 15plus have black screen for 1 second and 5 frames towards the end of each file. the Remaining few frames then jitter. The files play fine in windows media player.

Hmm, difficult one. Have you done the usual, i.e got all the patches so you're uptodate? Also, the old favorite, which is always worth a try, but no idea if it will help you. Place your cursor on the video track, depress mouse right button and choose create new frame table ( or something similar). Hope it improves thing some for you. Cheers, M o' L.
