Blu-ray mastering in BDCMF or Sonly CMF, does MEP 2013 plus do this?

Masters for Blu-ray replication must be submitted in Cutting Master Format (BDCMF or Sony CMF) on removable USB 2.0 hard drives formatted for Windows or files should be submitted as BDCMF or Sony CMF image on BD-R. (Playable BD-Rs are not acceptable for Blu-ray replication.)

Does movie edit pro do this, what external program would I have to buy to do this?

Hi

MEP does not upport the CMF.

There are many replicators who will produce discs from playable originals and pre-prepared artwork for the disc and insert printing. Usually they do this by duplication and not pressing - so the duplicates are on Writeable discs.

For pressed blu-ray you need to convert the BDMV format to BDCMF.  You can buy a software called BluStreak from Rivergate Software.

Alternatively you can use a disc replicator that can accept BDMV format.  I got my disc pressed by www.newcyberian.com in San Jose and they did a great job for me.
