Anirban,

I think for this and the glow effect in your other question you will need, if not a different editor as suggested by George, A 'plug in' for MEP -- something like the ProDad that comes with the Premium version. There is also some free 'plugins' that  allow effects to be added within eg MEP VirtualDub and VIrtualDubMod.

Regards,

Carl

Dear Carl,

THanks for the answer. But how do get these plugins---MEP VirtualDub and VIrtualDubMod?

Kindly suggest.

Regards.

I apologize, I forgot to say that I hope Carl comments on this post.  As far as I am concerned if Carl, John, or Terry cannot figure out how to do it, it probably can't be done in MEP.  Prodad plug-ins are very expensive, virtual dub is free but not really well supported.  Sometimes it is more economical to purchase another editor to get the features that MEP doe not have, go through the learning curve to use it to produce those features that you want then bring it in to MEP for final edit.  I currently use MEP MX Premium.  I also use Corel Video Studio Pro X5 because it gives me better title creation, it also include "Roto Pen" and a number of other features that I need.  I am about to purchase Cyberlink PowerDirector 12 Ultra because it gives me even more title choices, has many effects and transitions that could be created in mep, but the work flow is faster and easier and saves a lot of time.  The key frame feature in this product to me is much easier and faster to use.  There is nothing wrong with using more than one editing program.  It does not mean that you are not loyal to Magix.  It just means that you are using multiple products to make your movies as good as they can be.  There is no such thing as one sofware product that does everything that everyone want it to do the way they want to do it.  If I were not going to buy the Cyberlink product I would probably upgrade to MEP 2014 because the biggest improvement in 2014 is the whole renedering issue has gone away.  I can get that speed from the Cyberlink product and probably a little more but I am very comfortable using different applications for different functions and features but many people are not.  At the end of the day, you really need to decide how badly you want to use the things you describe, and how much you are willing to invest in both time and money to get what you want.

George

Anirban,

You should check out this announcement:

I've only skimmed their site but will certainly at least check out the (watermarked) demos. http://www.pixelan.com/magix-plugins.htm
