cable mini usb usb

I buy yesterday programm rescue for videotapes with and I see that manual tell about usb converter, but it's not usb but only mini usb.....so how I can connect vhs recorder to my pc if my pc have only usb and not miniusb???

Your converter is USB. "mini-usb" is simple one of socket variants. You need to buy a corresponding cable simply. Such as this
