Can a file in Movie Studio be transferred to Vegas?

I am an absolute neophyte to editing, but I've been working with Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum for a few months now. I found a great deal for Vegas Pro 16 and was thinking about switching, but I don't want to start my project over again. Can the file I am currently working on in MovieStudio 16 transfer over to Vegas Pro 16? I'm working in a Windows 10 environment although I doubt that's important for this question. Let me know if I can provide other details, and thank you!
