You could always wait a few weeks or a month. Magix often discounts their products down close to their upgrade prices at regular intervals.Either that or get in touch with their sales team via the email address you get with the activation code they sent you for Movie Edit Pro and see what they offer.
Do these versions have restrictions on the upgrade route ie they do not include upgrades to the latest version in the first year unlike purchasing the standard upgrade from Magix would?
I am still getting upgrade offers from when I purchased the bundle last time but no unpaid for upgrade to latest version. Only the last updated version of on VPX 11 and Vegas studio 16.
There are just no third party plug-ins with the bundled versions although on installing it picked up on and used all my other third party plug-ins without the need to re-register any of them.
It was quite a neat and painless instal experience.
There is no restriction for upgrading to the next version except for payment (upgrade price, not full price). You don't get an automatic upgrade to VPX12 like under the Update Service program. Of course, the first thing that you get is an advert to upgrade to the next version.
