Can Music Maker be used a simple sound file converter?

I really enjoyed playing around with the Music Maker demo, but I can't really justify spending £60 on something which is just a bit of fun. However, right now I'm in need of a sound file converter and if the basic Music Maker is able to do this, I'm tempted to go for it. I only have very small sound files (just noises for games) which I need to convert from WAV to OGG and MP3 formats.

Yes, you can take a .wav file to .ogg or .mp3 using the Magix Music Maker software... there are a lot of other export file formats as well.

Because you can use the "File Manager" to import, it would be easy to load in any sound file, CD track, or even record directly then export to the format you wish.
