Can't find a viable Sound Card for MX Music production suite

1) We've been using MusicMaker and Samplitude prods for years and recently upgraded to the MX Production Suite which when we can get it working is an excellent product. However, no matter what soundcard we use - the latest being the Creative Fatal1ty X-FI Titanium Pro version, E-MU 0404 USB interface, and Digigram VX222e, but regardless of the drivers used (asio, direct sound, or wave driver) the audio out put of the MM-MX SW crackles, distorts, and refuses to accept any USB mic, and constantly gives "low memory" or "out of memory" error messages - which is not possible since there is at least 27-28 GB of free DDR3 RAM available (out of 32). We're running a Dell t7500 with 2 x Intel Xenon quadcore processors (3.2 GHz each) and only using a max of 10-15 % of CPU power, plus we've got the SW, soundpools, etc., installed on solid-state drives in Raid-0 so there's near instant access to content and everything else. 1) What soundcard do you recommend for the best performance of the MM-MX SW running on Windows-7-Ultimate OS?  2) How do we get a Pro Tools USB mic, or a THX Blue (multidirectional) UsB mic to be recognized by the SW (it's recognized by the system) but even when set as 'default mic' the MX audio production software will dispay it under 'program settings' but whenever we try to record anything the meter just shows noise and that's all that's ever recorded. We're a non-profit educational org that develops and distributes free multimedia curricular materials for undergrad and K-12 educators, and we are now forced to record everying in Audigy or Win Recorder and import it into the MX program - which sound terrible. Please help us to solve this problem?
