Can't get program to open

I've loaded the product serial number and provided my email address to register the software but the program will not open. I get an error 24 response that the product is already registered. But, I can't open the program to use it because it wants me to register it first. (in other words the program is running me in circles)

This is a 2014 version that I've never been able to open and use because of this problem. So, I'm trying one more time to get a fix to this problem before I just trash the program and buy somebody else's product.

I'm running windows 10 on a 64bit PC.

Hi

Error 24 means that the program has already been registered with a different email address for the serial number you have.

Did you register the program when you first got it with a different email address?

Where did you purchase the program from?
