Downloaded from the emailed link OK, but then running vegaspro18edit_dlm_eij3hp.exe just pauses at this point every time. No other clues. Hitting continue doesn't help.
Vegas 17 installed and working for a year on a 96G Byte 16 core xeon fujistsu workstation
...aha - I then found this lurking in a likely looking location, and ran it.
C:\Users\New User\Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager\VEGAS_Pro_18.0.0.284_DE-EN-FR-ES_18_0_0_284.exe
Which put this install version up: https://clip2net.com/s/48LwvZg - and it had installed in
C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 18.0\vegas180.exe
- it seems to run veg files from v17 - so I'm calling that a start,,,
At first glance, there are a number of worthwhile new features - not least export/import preferences, Too bad Vegas17 doesn't an "export prefs" options that I can see? It appears to tidy up a lot of v17 loose ends.
Now then, were is the promised soundforge 14?
