Can the keyboard on the program be used to record tracks, or do you need to plug in a seperate keyboard?

The keyboard comes up and it plays, but it wont record, and the program says you can drag and drop. But that doesnt work either. So either it wont do it, or I haven't figured it out yet. Please advise

First of all, what version of MMM are you using?

Second, what keyboard are you referring to? An on-screen keyboard? The computer keyboard? A MIDI/USB keyboard?
