Can you multicam with 3 cameras

Howdy. Curious...I currently have MEP 2013. I believe it will NOT let me multicam edit with 3 separate cameras...only 2, correct?.

Is there a chance that any of the other Magix video softwares would allow me to do so? Or, is there a workaround you might suggest ?

Hi,

MEP Plus/Premium only allows 2 different sources. Magix Video Pro X6 allows up to 9 sources. Here is the text from the on-line help:

"Multicam editing is a special mode in the project window. The top two tracks serve as target tracks; sound and video can copied from up to nine different source tracks. The two most upper tracks need to therefore be empty when changing into multicam mode, if required the objects will be moved onto another track."

I suggest that you watch for an upgrade deal to X6 or ask Magix for one. I purchased the upgrade during the offering period for 200$.

No, MEP2014 does not allow more than 2 cameras. I use both 2014 and X6.
