Cannot download Mercall5 or Prodad Hide or fxhome ultra

Downloaded the 2021 upgrade and it appears to have installed but it is still showing Mercalli 2, not the Mercalli 5. I have downloaded and run the Mercalli 5 update it indicates it is installed but there is no request to insert the serial number. Prodad Hide will simply not download I am just getting a flash when I try to activate the download. Fx home ultra. trying to set up an account but the account page seems to freeze and won't accept when pressing the continue. Have many Magix products but have never had problems like this when it comes to updates

Hi John and welcome to the user to user forums.

If it MEP says it has downloaded the programs check the effects section icons. The Mercalli 5 icons should be these.

While the FX home Ultra look like this.

ProDad Hide is a standalone program. but I had no problems installing it. I do get a warning screen each time I activate it saying Direct X 9 is not loaded but then that warning disappears and the program starts.

It is important when downloading anything from magix servers that you have your antivirus or other monitoring programs disabled or they will disrupt and stop downloads.

To register any third party plugins you must first create an account at the various sites of the third party plugins.

IIRC, the Mercalli 5 registration process commences when you try to apply the effect on a video object.
