@izack

If you haven't made a backup of MEP to re-install then I would suggest you roll back Windows to a restore point where it was last working and then make a copy of the program before doing anything else. If that fails I sugest taking the problem up with MAGIX. It could be that a driver update has caused the problem or something else entirely.

@izack

The issue you are having may be due to the programs ini file being corrupt.

With MEP closed use Windows Explorer to search your c: drive for videodeluxe.ini - it may be a hidden file so you will need to set the search to include hidden files and folders.

You may find several files are returned in various locations - the one you want will be the largest in size ie 12 - 20+ kb

Delete the file - do not delete the other ini files which are about 1kb in size.

Note you will lose any custom settings you made.

Start MEP and try the project again.

@izack

The Videodeluxe.ini file you need should be in the folder:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe---------

Where username is your logon name and Videodeluxe--------- is the program veersion.

I tried what is above  (With MEP closed use Windows Explorer to search your c: drive for videodeluxe.ini - it may be a hidden file so you will need to set the search to include hidden files and folders. You may find several files are returned in various locations - the one you want will be the largest in size ie 12 - 20+ kb Delete the file - do not delete the other ini files which are about 1kb in size) but it took me to Notepad settings, so I may be looking not in the correct places, I do not know much about tech.

Can anyone look below and let me know if there is anything here I should know?  It shows up in Event Data as error. Thanking you in advance for all your help!
