Cannot read file format

I have Magix Edit Pro Premium and recently selected an Intro from the list under Effects>Design Elements.  It's perfect for my project and worked just fine until today.  Now all of a sudden, the audio is missing from the intro and I can't seem to find the file or whatever it is I need to do to get the audio back.  The outro works just fine and all of the other Intros/Outros under Design Elements work just fine.  So what can I do to get the sound back for the Airplane Intro?  I've already reset to the default program settings under File>Settings … The error is:

The file format of V:\Archiv\Produktcontent\2012\IntrosOutros\Clouds\cannot be read!

By the way, the name of the intro I selected is, "Airplane" so not sure why "Clouds" comes up in the error.

Help?  Thanks!!

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

First, please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there, especially about the version and variant of MEP you are running. The mention in the error message of "...\2012\..." makes me wonder if this is a rather old version which may have problems running under a later operating system.

In the meantime, have you navigated to that folder location? Is the named file present there? If it is, can you find, download and install the free MediaInfo utility and point it to this file. Post the results of the Tree view here. Then point it to any other file stored there and post its results here. Are there any obvious differences?
