Cannot see my Edit (Project) window with the movies

I have Magix Movie Edit pro deluxe 16. I had been working on a project with several movies in it. I went to open the project and I do not see the Project/Edit window for this project. I've opened all the .bak files, I restored files I deleted when cleaning out the .bak files on my computer. I read the forums and the information. Nothing seems to pertain to this issue.

I see the Edit window in other projects. I just finished one the other day and uploaded to youtube. I don't remember having any problems with this project before.

I did have this problem one other time and was able to find an answer on how to restore the Edit window. Please note the option to choose active windows is grayed out for the one I need. Maybe this is really simple...

Thank you for any information you can provide

.

This is the screen shot.

Tried that. Didn't work. Reset to defaults. Didn't work. I'm very confused about this. Last time I was able to restore the window. Any other tricks?

In your second screen shot, right at the top, did you try Window Arrangement and then Default?

Hi

Was the project worked on, or left loaded with no activity, for more than ~ 100 mins with no save being made?

. . . . I've opened all the .bak files . . . .

Did the timeline appear with any of the backup files?

If not - then this would suggest the project is and backups are corrupted.

If yes - did you save the backup once loaded with a different file name?
