Cant Find MOV in Stream?

As a Meteorologist, I have created a intro but I cant Import my video that i have made on another software in my timeline. Its not protected it just says can't find movie in stream. what do I do?

Full computer specification
Windows version and is it up to date
Movie Edit Pro (MEP) version and patch number as seen under Help, About . . .
Is Quicktime installed if MEP is not the 2017 version Movie Edit Pro Premium
Any other relevant information.

1-windows 7

2- up to date on everything and setting were checked

3-MEP(2015)

4- quicktime not installed

5 Software is a weather software and Always use MP4 for export/import.

That is the problem - MEP 2015 requires Quciktime to import and export MOV files.

There are 3 options to resolve this:

Install Quicktime Essentials be aware that Quicktime for Windows is no longer supported by Apple and it is not clear whether the security issue, which is not going to be patched, affects the core components in Essentials. The US Department for Homeland Security issued a bulletin recommend Quicktime be uninstalled.
Use a video converter such as MovAvi to convert video to another format eg MP4 for import into MEP
Upgrade to Movie Edit Pro Premium which has native support for importing MOV files.
