Cant run it on Macbook

Ron-Bretz wrote on 7/27/2021, 12:54 PM

I downloaded Movie edit pro on my Macbook. It downloaded fine but I cannot open the downloaded file at all. The message I get is that it is exclusively a Windows program. The info in the Magix website did not warn me of this. Help or I'm out 70 bucks!

It's clearly said here, isn't it?

@Ron-Bretz

Hi,

And why would you buy it without trying it first to see if it runs on your equipment? There is a trial version.

@Ron-Bretz For refunds contact sales support at shop@magix.net if you bought it directly from Magix. If you bought it from another vendor you need to contact them.

I guess it does. I did not see that. But now I've got software I cannot use. I use other software from this same company that runs on both (Soundforge) so I assumed that was how they did it. Oh well, live and learn...sometimes.
