Catooh: The coupon could not be accepted. Why?

I paid, completed multiple registrations, attempted to redeem my +1000 loops, and get the message the coupon could not be accepted. I am positive it is the correct code, sent by email from Magix.

No one here works for Magix, this is a user forum. You would be better off taking this up with Magix sales in your country of purchase.

I bought my MM through Amazon; a boxed DVD set. When I registered my software, I was sent an email and a code for redeeming at Catooh. In reality, the email code could not work. However, a code on the DVD cover envelope did activate the download. The code in the box was not explicitly clear, as opposed to the email containing the false code. The download is a sort of carrot to get you to register with Catooh, This download is part of what is promised as part of the package prior to purchase of 2013 Premium. I'm not sure if I would have figured this out without an extensive web search giving clues.
