CD Architect 5.2 cannot register

John-Finney wrote on 9/29/2025, 11:39 AM

I get an error message when trying to register CD Architect 5.2. The error has occurred for multiple attempts since Friday.

It reads, " an error occurred during registration

Unable to connect to registration server error 22002. I thought that the server might be updating over the weekend, but today I still get the same error

I have connection to the internet. I have used this product on this computer, it is in my products list. I have been using the serial number that shows in the list.

Thank you for your help

I also de-installed, re-downloaded from your site, used the SN from your site.I tried three different browsers, and disabled my firewall.

I don't have a box version of this software.

When trying that message I an "invalid hardware id", something like that... Was I supposed to use the windows 11 computername? If so, it didn't work. The directions said, "Type in the computer ID provided by the SCS era software when prompted", but no name was provided by the software

I meant Computer ID - none was provided

@John-Finney I think you should get the hardware ID/computer ID during the activation process of CD Architect.

I figured it out.

The htm link does not work, it is a dead link.

Workaround: I chose to activate on another computer, the program saved a htm file, I renamed it to .txt and opened it in Notepad. A few lines from the bottom embedded in the html code was a 7 digit alphanumeric code that I used when generating the Activation Number. That number unlocked the program. All is working now. Thank you!!

Attached is a pic of the html code, it won't load into any of the three browsers I have. The code is faulty.
