I have done this plenty of times by just extending the image on the timeline. But now I can not change the length of a logo I imported. This started a couple days ago. I feel pretty stupid and greatly frustrated that I can't figure out how to make it longer.

It would be helpful to get more info, such as what product and version you're using, and a clear screenshot of the timeline and logo ... but meanwhile some thoughts/guesses:
1. This logo is an image, not a video?
2. Is it still resistant to change using Right click > 'Change duration...'?
3. If you restart MEP (?) open a fresh project and import the image, same problem?
4. Presumably you tried resetting Program Settings?
5. Are there any locked tracks in the troublesome project?
Thanks Terry. I was able to finally get the right click to work. Yes, it is an image (jpg) Usually I used the mouse to expand the image on the timeline, sliding it to the desired length.
