Color > Saturation: minor bug?

MEP 2013 Premium > Video effects > Color > Saturation

Unlike all other boxes, I cannot set this by typing a number followed by Tab or Enter. It reverts to 0. Value has to be set with slider, which is a bit slower when an exact value is required.

Also, I'm puzzled by the following behaviour. Video objects viewed with Art Filter > Colorizer and Color > Saturation show the values last set, but that's apparently not true for still images?

Hi Terry

. . . . I cannot set this by typing a number followed by Tab or Enter. It reverts to 0. . . . .

Works OK for me.

. . . . Art Filter > Colorizer and Color > Saturation . . . .

Have you bought a plug-in for this one  - does not exist in my MEP 2013?

John

Hi John,

Using Video effects > Color > Saturation it seems just negative numbers that cannot be typed in.

Hi Terry

Ah now I understand - that also happens here under certain circumstances - I can type in negative values OK, however if you then change one of the RGB values it does revert back to zero.

Technically you cannot have negative saturation the scale ranges from 0 to 100% - the MEP scaling is an artificial scale presumably where:

0 means no change to the original

-100 means saturation is 100% off ie no colour = greyscale

+100 means colour saturation is 100% maxed out
