Colour change in Preview Monitor

I'm new to this programme so my apologies in advance if this is a silly question. Trying to create a slideshow and have managed with the basics. Currently have a problem in that the photos that I'm importing look the correct colour in File Explorer, Photoshop etc and also when looking at the small images in the Timeline but when viewed in the P/V Monitor there is quite a major colour shift - mainly towards a purple tinge. Anyone else had this problem and any suggestions please. Thanks.

No such thing as a completely silly question.

I edit Stills in both in Photoshop and Capture NXD. I can't say I notice colour shifts between the two.

Images in the timeline if expanded to be very large get soft and lack detail but that is not what they are for.

Are you using more than one monitor? Do you have one image on one monitor and the other on the second monitor. If so are the monitors calibrated?

Hi

This sounds like the preview monitor is in Anaglyph mode which is easy to do if you catch the . (period/full stop) key ie the keyboard shortcut.

Click the hamburger top right of the preview monitor and check that it is set to Standard 2D.
