Im trying to download videos from my go pro and when I do I says I have to activate a HVEC codec . And when I go to do it , it asks for my computerID of programme I wish to activate ? where do I find my computerID ?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Please read this topic and come back with more details about the Movie Edit Pro version you are using ie Trial, Basic, Plus or Premium and the version number.

Is the computer connected to the Internet and have you tried to activate the HEVC codec again?
