Controlling the Music Maker DAW with my Keystation 49 MK3 MIDI keyb

Hi all, is there a way to control the Music Maker DAW transport controls (and other aspects of the DAW) via the buttons and sliders on my Keystation 49 Mk3 midi keyboard? I would love to be able to control Music Maker directly with my MIDI controller rather than my PC? I really hope the answer is yes and that someone can tell me how to do this. Many thanks, John

@John-Godley To my knowledge, controlling transport controls is only possible with controllers included in the Hardware Editions of Music Maker.

If your VSTs have a way to map MIDI CC to its controls, you can try that. For example, Magix Vita Instruments offer a right click menu on its controls to map a MIDI CC to them. But a lot of VST effects and instruments don't offer this functionality and rely on the DAW for mapping.

Music Maker is deliberately limited in this regard. You would need to switch to Samplitude Pro X8 or Music Studio X8 for hardware controller support.
