After using Magix for over 10yrs, 👴 always disappointed that right click on the mouse copy/paste doesn't work I've only recently discovered that Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V do work, text just got a whole lot easier 😂😂😂
But you can copy and paste objects in the timeline. So if the text is an object you could copy and paste that.

Yeah i think i know what you mean, Objects in the timeline can only be copied & pasted within the Magix program using the right click on the mouse copy/paste, I was talking about copying text from anywhere outside Magix, the internet or my folders, then inserting/pasting it into Title editing box in Magix to be inserted in the timeline
@Scenestealer is correct - for large titles and rolling credits I have found that copy and pasting from Word has resulted in some strange effects and symbols appearing in the title object - most likely from the text formatting commands in Word.
I actually use Notepad++ rather than Notepad or WordPad - mainly because when I am looking at code and HTML it formats and colours the text to make it easier to read - however for creating title text Notepad++, Notepad and WordPad will do - they do not introduce any formatting commands like Word does.
I would avoid WordPad for your purpose as WordPad can hold formatting. Text in WordPad can be saved as RichText (*rtf), Office Open XML Document (*.docx), Open DocumentText (*.odt) as well as plain text (*.txt).
Copying a text from Word into WordPad does not remove the formatting you want to avoid using this technique. Same into NotePad works.
. . . . Copying a text from Word into WordPad does not remove the formatting you want to avoid using this technique . . .
Thanks for the clarification - I should have mentioned that there is no point in using WordPad to try and remove the formatting when copying text from Word.
If the text already exists in Word or any other word processor, then you have to copy it into Notepad or Notepad++ to remove the formatting, then copy from there into the Title object.

If you need accents or symbols, or none keyboard characters then these can be typed into the text object directly using Alt+number codes (also works in Notepad++).
I use Windows right click New- Text Document that comes up as Notepad for bits of writing/note, it pastes into Magix fine with Ctrl+v, but the copy n paste will just come in useful for copying names or for spelling correction/checking. Thanks all.
The codes are in Character map in windows accessories, I use them quite a lot it's just remembering the no's Alt+0189 = ½. Alt+0186 = º for temperatures, Alt+0247 = ÷ because / isn't easy to read sometimes & Alt+0178 = ² for my work. 😉
