Create Activation Code -- Computer ID did not auto-fill. Where is it?

Help please. I really need to start using this software:
VEGAS Pro 19

I down-loaded it last night from Best Buy and got as far as entering the product code and serial number. But the Computer ID did not fill in and I must enter. What/where do I find it? I've done the cmd ipconfig/all dance. I've tried all the numbers. The install keeps responding with:

Error activating

No activation could be created; please try again later.

Ughh! Please help. -- KD

There will also be a link to the correct forum under Help in the program.
